Offline Consulting – Teaching is the Key to Success

Giving valuable knowledge freely establishes you as a valuable relationship to have in the eyes of the local business owner.

Be patient and understand that no matter how optimistic a person is about how they can use the knowledge you give them,.. they just can’t make time for it. People are creatures of habit and they just wont do it themselves even if they really believe they will.

The new information you are giving them involves a learning curve using software they have never seen,.. you can even offer to teach them how to use it for free and they still won’t make time to do it.

Local business owners already have more to do than they can handle. That is your secret competitive advantage.

You want to give the farm away in information knowing they wont do it because they don’t have time and will eventually hire you, because they trust you. They trust you because you gave them the truth freely.

THAT is how it’s done.

Always be willing to make mistakes… just admit to yourself you are learning and move past all obstacles.
